Last updated: 28 October 2026

This page explains how personal data is handled on this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

The data controller is Pietro Amorelli, host of Suite Righi 28 and Maison Milazzo 32 in Bologna, Italy. You can reach him by phone or WhatsApp at +39 340 646 5607.

What data we collect

• Booking and account: name, email address, phone number, dates of stay, number of guests and any message you send.
• Payment: card payments are handled by Stripe. We receive the payment outcome and amount, never your full card details.
• At check-in: identity document details, which Italian law requires hosts to send to the police (Alloggiati Web) and to use for the city tax.
• Technical data: the website uses cookies needed to log in and complete a booking. Stripe may set its own cookies on the payment form to prevent fraud.

Why we use it

• To manage your booking, payment and stay (performance of a contract).
• To meet legal obligations: guest registration, city tax, accounting and tax records.
• To answer your messages.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who receives it

• Stripe, for card payments.
• The website hosting provider, which stores the site and its data.
• The Italian authorities, only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Booking data is kept for as long as needed to manage the stay and then for the period required by Italian tax and accounting law. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. To do so, contact us at the number above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
